I must say, I didn't like being called a racist, however if the shoe fits. I learned from my surroundings, and it just so happens, I was raised in a nest of WASP's . That is more than likely were I started thinking that I deserved a certain amount of what I thought was a basic privileges. Which I am slowly learning, through the eyes of my daughters, is bullshit. I can only do my best to change my views to be more socially just. Ashley, I hope you will be as proud of me, as I am of you. Yesterday I called representative DuPont’s office to let him know that I support bill #38, which is in support of same sex marriage. This bill is coming up for a vote very soon in RI.

Hashtag Truth.

I definitely agree with your points and as an extreme 'E' according to my personality profile friends, I have had to learn that it is okay to spend one-on-one time with myself. I am proud to say that I no longer have a negative physical reaction to being without people; although I still prefer people.

Lastly, I so miss being in class and being a student. The intense learning in a relatively safe space and almost constant feedback really fed my ego, personality, and inner nerd.

p.s Despicable Me is on acb family right now and keep laughing while typing this. Sorry for anything that doesn't make 100% sense!

Thanks so much, Brian. I am a big fan of One Word because I can apply that word to so many endeavors and goals in my life; it's dynamic and flexible while being, as you said, so simple.

Best of luck in your 2013 and thank you for reading!

The One Word concept. So simple. Yet requires some good thinking and reflection. Thanks for sharing the concept. I may have to steal your word - perhaps partly out of laziness and partly because it's a theme that resonates a lot in both my life and work.

Nice post.
